Welcome to “In Lieu of IM…”

This blog is being co-written by two guys who share common interests. We hope to cover a broad range of topics, from the mundane to life changing epiphanies (I’ll leave that to my buddy- judging from his first two posts). The overall direction of the blog will continue to change over time since we could not reach an agreement on the editorial content. Ideas ranged from blogging about photography (as we’re both new to digital photography) to communicating via this blog instead of through instant messaging (hence the title of the blog) *We really need to do something about that title. While photography will play a central part of the blog, we will also post about things that we find interesting as part of our continuing dialog outside of instant messaging.
